The Shawarma has gone desi in a big way. So much so that you need to make an effort to recall it as a food of foreign origin. Mohammed and I have a current favourite in a tiny place underneath the Defence Colony flyover called Concept Shawarma. One Chicken Shawarma will cost you Rs 70. The rolls are tender, melt in the mouth and juicy. The green chutney that accompanies them will surprise you. It is not the usual green liquid of no taste. It actually is delicious and when slathered onto the rolls, even better! Even remembering them just now for this post is making the mouth water. Do try 🙂
